On every Saturday and Sunday from 4 to 19 December you will find Weelde’s Winter Warenmarkt at Marconistraat 39, Weelde’s Winter Warenmarkt, a market with unique products from creative start-ups and second-hand items. Cultural free state and event location Weelde forced to cancel the 2021 program due to the new COVID measures, but is not entitled to a government support package. The organization is therefore setting up a last-minute winter Christmas market, which can be organized with the current measures. In this way, they offer Rotterdam entrepreneurs, who may also be affected by the lockdown, the opportunity to sell their products to a large public. In addition, they want to offer the market a place where there is still room for some solidarity and conviviality.
