1. Klein Beginnen and Grooot

Maternity wear, a maternity gift or clothing for your baby or toddler, the hip Rotterdam baby and children’s shop located in the Hartmanstraat has everything for (future) parents. For the little ones you will find brands like Kidscase and Imps & Elfs and for the slightly larger kids (from size 92 up to 12 years) there is clothing from Petit Louie, NOP, Someone and Kik-kid. 2. Dattie en Die

In the middle of Kralingen, on the Lusthofstraat, you will find Datte and Die, a children’s gift shop where you can also buy blankets, bed sheets, sleeping bags and clothes for babies and toddlers. The children’s gift shop’s motto says it all: ‘Everything for small treasures’. More info

3. Studio YET

You can design your own clothes at Studio YET! You choose the fabrics and the design and Yvette makes a nice sweater or pair of pants for you. The clothing that is available is all self-designed and homemade. In addition to clothing, Yvette sells a lot of other fun children’s and baby products such as pacifier cords, bibs and diaper bags. 4. Petit Bateau

Petit Bateau is a well-known French brand for slightly more luxurious clothes and underwear for children and has its own shop in Rotterdam on the Karel Doormanstraat. Parents may also find something they want. Maybe you and your little one can dress the same, Twinning is winning! More info

5. El-Eef: trendy children’s clothing

When shopping, as sisters Ellen and Eva realised, it’s really nice and handy if there is a play corner where your kids can play, colour and watch TV. While the little ones are busy, the parents can quietly look at the clothing brands Finger in the Nose, Akid, Imps & Elfs, I Dig Denim and the French Little Eleven Paris. 6. Little Department Store

The web shop, founded in 2011, which has also had a store on the Kleiweg since July 2014, sells environmentally conscious brands that are produced under responsible conditions and where sustainable materials have been used wherever possible. You will find Sissy Boy, a shop for the whole family, in the middle of the city centre. The brand has its own home department, care products and clothing for mom, dad and the little ones. In the large store (1800 m2) of the popular American fashion brand in the Koopgoot, you will find the latest trends, must-have styles & the hottest deals on clothing and accessories. The American fashion chain Urban Outfitters is also hip and trendy. They have a pop-up store on the Lijnbaan where you can buy a wide range of clothing, shoes, accessories, gadgets, books and interior items. More info

For streetwear, don’t miss Sevenply. They sell hoodies, sweaters, t-shirts and chinos from different brands like Stüssy, Carhartt, Levi’s, Vans and Polar. 12. Hollister

Hollister is another lifestyle brand that has established itself in Rotterdam. The little sister of Abercrombie and Fitch focuses on age 14 to 18 years with the so-called ‘Southern California style’ and is the perfect address if you’re looking for trendy and casual.
